In the entertainment industry, plastic surgery is the average. Most celebrities lean on their ‘artistahin’ appearance to have a flourishing career. This involves having pearly-white skin, narrow and sculpted nose, blemish-free skin, and the ideal body. But this concept is difficult to do naturally, that's why several stars turn to plastic surgery.

However, in the Philippines, plastic surgery is a taboo topic. In fact, numerous people look down on people who went under plastic surgery, labeling them as ‘fake’ and ‘not natural.’ But the singer and host Angeline Quinto is gradually transforming this stereotype.

It is an understood fact that Angeline has endured a series of plastic surgery. Right from the beginning of her career, the Kapamilya singer has always been open about her desire to look better, in order to be presentable to her fans. For Angeline, this will also help in her career growth

On Instagram, Angeline shared all of the methods that she went through to look and feel good. According to the Kapamilya star, she experienced eyelid surgery, arm liposuction, belly liposuction, thermage, gluthathione, and breast reduction.

However, the gifted singer rejected allegations that she went through a rhinoplasty surgery to repair her nose. According to Angeline, she thought about it a few times, but after numerous consultations with her doctors, she decided that it was not the best choice for her.

Even though plastic surgery has a negative connotation in Filipino culture, Angeline bravely speaks up. In doing so, the singer is also helping to normalize these procedures and reduce the shame around the people who get them. At the end of the day, it’s their body and their choice.
