Many of us recognize one of the prettiest actresses in the Kapuso network, Carla Abellana. For her entire showbiz career, she starred in many TV shows and movies.
Many of her fans questioned why they didn’t notice or why Carla lay low from showbiz.
Recently, she eventually explains her silence and explained the reason for her break from showbiz.
In an interview online from “Just In” Carla eventually cleared up about her health problem. During the taping of her latest project “Love of My Life”.
The shooting was temporarily paused or stop because of Carla’s weight raising drastically. During that time, Carla suffering severe pressure.
” July tayo nagstart ng Love of My Life, August, September nag gain ako nag 26 pounds on total sa loob ng 4 months na ikinatataka ko. Kasi nala diet food ako, nag wowork out ako 3 times a week. Bakit nadadagdagan ng nadadagdagan ang timbang ko kesa mabawasan o ma-maintain? Hindi siya nag stop”.
Carla was terrified of her condition because of unexplained weight gain. Because of that, Carla seeks some help from medical professionals.
Carla asked not one, but two medical experts just to be assured what’s happening to her at that time. After the two consultations, she discovered that she has a liver complication and hyperthyroidism.
“May problem pala ako sa liver, may asthma daw pala ako, so kumabaga the more kami magpatingin, the more na may nahahanap kami. Ang hirap kasi sabay sabay. Hindi ako makatayo. Sobrang sakit ng tuhod ko and then lumaki ang tiyan ko and sumakit ng todo yung tiyan ko na ang tigas tigas”. Carla stated.
With the help of proper diet, medicine, and exercise. Carla Abellana reaching back to her shape again slowly. Up until now, Carla still bothers about her health and often consults her doctors.
She also gives some help to others who experience the same condition as she was before that they need to follow their doctors’ advice.
